Principal Notes – November 13th

Dear Florence Roche Families,

We have been very fortunate to begin our year with such favorable weather conditions.  The temperatures this week were not typical for early November, but it looks like the days ahead will be more seasonable.  Students and staff have taken advantage of learning and playing outdoors.  We will continue to utilize outdoor learning spaces as we move later into the fall.  Please remind your child to dress for the day’s weather as we will be going outdoors as often as possible.

Specialists begin a new 4 week rotation on Monday.  Here are the assignments.

Kindergarten Art
Grade 1 Library
Grade 2 Music
Grade 3 Innovation Lab
Grade 4 Physical Education

Parent – Teacher Conferences are scheduled for the afternoons of 12/21, 12/22, and 12/23.  Your child’s homeroom teacher will schedule the conference with you.

Flu Shot Reminder

The influenza vaccine is required for all Groton-Dunstable students Pre-K through Grade 12 regardless whether they are hybrid or remote. Please drop off, email or fax a copy of your student’s flu shot to the school nurse no later than December 15, 2020 to allow for processing by the December 31st deadline.

Thanks for all of your support.  Have a wonderful weekend!

Brian
