Message from our PTO: The Middle School PTO will be meeting next Wednesday, March 13th at 4:00 in the Middle School South Library.   We are seeking new members to join as most of our members will be moving on to the high school next year.  We we will no longer have a PTO next year without new membership.  For the past four years that I have been on the PTO we have raised close to $10,000 a year in funds.  These funds have been used to purchase school supplies for teachers and students and to buy books for the library and for teacher’s classrooms.  We have also used the money to bring enrichment programs to the middle school, for example this week we helped pay to bring Mexican Artisans to the middle school so that students could practice speaking Spanish too them, as well as learn about how they make their alebrije sculptures.   We also use these funds to hold two teacher appreciation luncheons a year as well as an 8th grade graduation breakfast.  The PTO also organizes spirit wear and the school supply programs for the school.  Without the PTO all these benefits to the middle school will be lost.  Please contact Kerri Mercier if you can join our group and help keep the PTO going next year. Thank you – Kerri Mercier    contact : kerri_mercier@yahoo.com  Agenda for our next meeting
