Middle School News April 27, 2019

Happy Saturday – hopefully the sun will show up today!

Reminder that all grades have been updated in School Brain, as of April 24th. This is a good time to look over grades with your middle schooler. Please keep in mind that any student with an end of the year (4 quarters) grade of more than two courses in the ‘F’ range is in danger of being retained.

The PTO has kindly offered to put on a staff appreciation luncheon on our next half day, May 17th. I can tell you that the previous luncheon was very much appreciated! If you would like to support this event, here is a sign-up, thank you in advance! https://www.signupgenius.com/go/5080d4fa5ae2ba57-spring1

Here is a list of upcoming events, this may not be representative of individual team events, but should give you an overview May & June GDRMS Events .

Yesterday, some of our students and staff members participated in the annual Special Olympics held at Fitchburg State College. Even though it rained, our athletes participated and had a great day. Thank you to the SSC and NECC staff for your dedication and efforts to make a rainy and cold day a great experience for these students. Many of the middle school students and their teachers were outside in the morning rain to send our athletes off for the day – this was an awesome show of community support!

PRIDE: Positivity: Demonstrate open-mindedness. Be accepting and support diverse thinking. Have a willingness to learn.

Enjoy your weekend,
