Here’s some Middle School News!

School Brains grades were updated this Wednesday as they are every two weeks. This is a great time to review grades and assignments with your middle schooler to be sure they are off on the right foot for quarter 2!

News from Athletic Booster Club: SPIRIT WEAR IS NOW AVAILABLE…The GD Athletic Booster Club is glad to present on-line shopping again at RedBrick Clothing from now until midnight November 17th https://redbrickclothing.com/rbcmall/stores/store/314 Back by popular demand are the Black-Out and White-Out Hoodies, as well as the highly anticipated “CRUSADERS” PJ Pants. Most products are under $50. News from Student Council: Dance for grades 7 & 8 on November 22nd!

You should have received your child(ren)’s picture packet from Coffee Pond. If your child(ren) missed picture day, or you are dissatisfied with the pictures, re-take day will be on Tuesday, November 26th Retake instructions; Aside from this, we will be making the decision to continue with this company, or not. I would appreciate emails letting me know if you are dissatisfied only with this picture company.

Our Thanksgiving Break will start 11:30 on 11/27!

We are looking for 2-3 nurses to attend our Washington, DC trip June 1-5. If you are interested or have questions about this, please contact me directly.

News from Health Department: BMI and Postural screenings – BMI (7th grade only) and postural screening (all grades), initial screenings will take place on December 3rd, 4th and 5th during the school day. Please remind female students to wear a sports bra or tank top under their clothes the day of the screening.  BMI Opt Out Letter
