Middle School News June 11, 2020

Happy Thursday!

Classes and Grades: Probably most middle school classes will be held for the last time today. Students may still turn in Math, Science, Social Studies and ELA assignments until tonight. Grades will be ‘live’ in School Brains by Monday June 15th, at 3pm.

IAs – IA Activities are no longer being accepted as they were due earlier in the week. The general expectation for IA completion was for students to complete 3 activities per week for the 9 weeks, which is where the goal of 27 came from. I was excited to award 22 PRIDE t-shirts to students that completed between 34 and 57 IA activities over the 9 weeks!  Additionally, a whopping 245 students completed more than 27 activities! Great job!!

Locker Clean out – Round 2: If your middle school student missed the first round of locker clean outs – here is the second and final round of opportunities to clean out lockers! Please sign your child up for a specific 15 minute time slot below on June 17th 8-11am. Please remember, each student enters unaccompanied by adults and must wear a mask. Trash barrels will be in the hallways for any rubbish. If there are school books or library books please have your child place them in the labeled box by the door.  If there are unused school supplies that you wish to donate, please drop those in the boxes by the door.
