Deryn Copeland graduated from Westfield State University in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in English. She went back and completed WSU’s teacher certification and licensure program in 2017. Over the past two years, Deryn has worked within the GDRSD district as a paraprofessional, student teacher, and long term substitute teacher. The 2017-2018 school year will be her first year in a full time teaching position as the 6th grade ELA teacher.
Outside of the classroom, Deryn enjoys traveling, reading, and being with friends and family.
