Principal Update December 3, 2018

  1. Our first trimester grades closed this past Friday (11/30).  Your child’s report card will be available for your viewing on School Brains on Friday (12/14).  If you have any difficulties viewing the report card, please feel free to contact our office.
  2. I hope your parent conferences last month were helpful and insightful about your child as a learner. Our staff takes great pride and getting to know their students and taking on-going data to drive their instruction.  As I often mentioned, please don’t ever hesitate to contact your child’s teacher if you have questions.
  3. Our School Council has been busy these past couple of months with our School Giving Projects.  In November our School donated 1,363 pounds of non-perishable food items to the Merrimack Valley Food Bank.  This was an incredible amount for a school our size.  As we move into December, our school has decided to support families in Groton and Dunstable. We will be raising money for the Community Children’s Fund.  We sent home a flyer last week with all the information.
  4. I had the pleasure last month to spend the day with Phoebe Lambe, as she was the Principal For The Day.  She won this prize as part of our Back To School Picnic Raffle.  Phoebe had a busy day.  She assisted me with bus and lunch duty, we visited all the classrooms, and she helped me with my paperwork.
  5. Our APT will be sponsoring a Holiday Store next week.  You will be receiving a flyer this week with more information.
  6. We have two half-days this month: December 7th and December 14th.  Also, we are on school vacation from December 24th to January 1st.  Students will return to school on Wednesday, January 2nd.
