Principal Notes – February 5th

Dear Florence Roche Families,

I hope this finds you well.  It was great to see so many students enjoying our staff bedtime stories on Wednesday night.  This was a nice way to end our celebration of World Read Aloud Day.  Thank you to all of our staff members for participating and especially to Mrs. Pierantozzi for coordinating the day for us.  We even had a visit from Flo!

The fresh snow provided many opportunities for students to get outside to play and be creative.  Mr. Wiesner, our music teacher, continues to take advantage of his “outdoor classroom”.  He has our 4th grade students outside singing safely on most days.  I had a memorable experience this past week listening to their singing while interacting with students playing in the snow.  All that was missing was the bonfire!

Responsible Use of Technology Reminder

Please remember that student district gmail accounts should only be used for school related activities.  Social chats on a Google Hangout using a district email would not be a school activity.  We appreciate your support at home in helping children make responsible decisions especially when communicating with each other online.

Lost — but Found Boot!

Screen Shot 2021-02-05 at 4.03.33 PMThis boot was found on school grounds earlier this week.  We suspect it might belong to a younger sibling who may not be our student yet.  If this boot belongs to your child please call the office at 978-448-6665 to arrange for pick up.

Have a great weekend!
