Principal Notes – March 19th

Dear Florence Roche Families,

I hope you are all adjusting well to the daylight savings time shift.  I definitely appreciate the extended sunlight as I make my way home each day.  Spring will be here this weekend and with it the warmer days.  I feel fortunate to live in New England where we get to experience the seasonal changes.  Time to gear up for all of my outdoor projects!

We are putting together the final details on the plan to move some of our remote students back to in person school beginning on April 5th.  The plan will be shared with all of the important information as soon as everything is finalized.  Please know that we will still provide support to our remote students and families as we finish out this last term of our year.

All students and families are encouraged to attend our virtual Literacy Night celebration on Thursday, March 25th from 6:30-7:30.  Our theme this year is poetry and we have a special guest poet scheduled to share with us.  Here are some of our students sharing all the important information with you.

Literacy Night 3/19/21

We hope you are able to join us!

As the weather continues to improve we are spending more time out enjoying our playground and fields.  Our grounds are a community asset and I often see people and their dogs walking the property after school hours.  Please help us keep the grounds clean and safe by reminding friends and neighbors to pick up after their four-legged friends.  Thanks for your help.

Have a nice weekend and happy spring!
