  • Monday 3/22 – Wear mismatched socks Down Syndrome awareness
  • Tuesday 3/23 – Wear red for Autism awareness  #redinstead
  • Wednesday 3/24 – Wear GD colors, maroon, white and black ‘GD for school spirit’!
  • Thursday 3/25 – Wear green for Cerebral Palsy awareness
  • Friday 3/26 – wear purple for epilepsy  awareness

Health Office News

The Massachusetts Department of Public Health has mandated that students entering the 7th grade be up to date on their immunizations, and physicals. Parents/guardians may send in a copy or scan the immunizations to Nurse Gray’s email address: lgray@gdrsd.org. Physicals and Immunizations Letter



8th Grade Parent Information Night

April 1 at 6pm.

Please “virtually” join high school administrators, teachers, guidance counselors and support staff to learn more about transitioning from 8th grade at GDRMS to 9th grade at GDRHS.  The evening will include a number of topics including…General Introduction to GDRHS and the Administrative Team; Student Life; Course Offerings; Navigating the Scheduling Process

Self Management

During the month of March, all students will have weekly lessons in Self Management. ‘The ability to successfully regulate one’s emotions, thoughts, and behaviors in different situations–effectively managing stress, controlling impulses, and motivating oneself.  The ability to set and work toward personal and academic goals.’

Yearbook Committee

If your middle schooler is interested in being on the Yearbook Committee this spring, please return this permission. Yearbook meetings will be via ZOOM on Tuesdays after school, from 2:35 to 3:35 pm. Mrs. O’Neill is the yearbook advisor. Yearbook Committee Permission
