The Swallow Union Elementary School is located at 522 Main Street in Dunstable, Massachusetts, easily accessible from Route-3 and Route 113-West. The school building was named after prominent 19th century chemist Ellen Swallow Richards (1842-1911). With her pioneering work in sanitary engineering and research in domestic science, Ellen Swallow Richards is considered the founder of the home economics movement in the United States.

Visiting the Swallow Union Elementary School
While visiting the school during normal hours, visitors must report to the office to sign in and get a visitor’s badge. All volunteers and chaperones must fill out a CORI form, which can be downloaded below. An approved CORI form must be on file before volunteering or chaperoning.
