Our staff returned on Monday, August 30th full of excitement to prepare for our returning students. Full information regarding lunch, drop-offs, supplies, teacher assignments, etc. should have been received directly from your school and your principal. Bus routes, the calendar for this year, and other transportation info can be found on our new and improved website. I wanted to share just a few reminders with you.
- Please download our new APP from our newly designed website. We will be using this exclusively to contact parents by mid-September. Families will get many reminders to download the app which will send you messages through "push notifications".
- Our first vaccination clinic will be Tuesday, August 31st beginning at noon and running till 8:00 p.m. in the parking area of middle school south. Our clinic will be offering Johnson and Johnson vaccines for those ages 18+ and the fully approved Pfizer vaccination for those ages 12+. Just as a reminder that beginning October 1st, we may be allowed to propose to the school committee that our middle school and high school students ages 12+ who are vaccinated be allowed to "drop their masks" if our schools have a vaccination rate of 90% or above. We ask families to consider participating in this program. To participate in the COVID-19 Testing program, you must sign the consent form on behalf of your student. - Attached you will find our full Health and Safety document for the FY22 school year. Included in this document are links to the full DESE guidance regarding COVID protocols for this school year.
- All families are encouraged to have their students participate in the Regular Covid Safety Check program (formerly known as pooled testing). All athletes in our middle school and high school athletic programs, along with their coaches, are required to participate in this program. Emails were sent out last week with the link for the consent for students to participate in this program.
