Dear Florence Roche Families,
We have an exciting week ahead with our scheduled Field Days. Grades K-1 is scheduled for Tuesday, 6/7, Grades 2-3 will be on Wednesday, 6/8 and 4th grade will be on Thursday, 6/9. Field Days will run in the morning from 9:30-11:30. Students will be outside for most of the event, so please apply sunscreen at home in the morning and make sure your student has a water bottle. Our PTA is coordinating a team of volunteers and welcomes anyone interested in helping out. Here is the link to the sign up form Field Day Volunteers .
Grades 2 and 3 learned all about owls through the Eyes on Owls program that visited us this week. Grade 1 students learned about forces and motion through a program with the Acton Discovery Museum. Thank you to our PTA for their continued support in funding these enrichment programs. It’s always rewarding to talk with students about these programs and hear
about all they are learning

The groundbreaking ceremony for our new Florence Roche School was rescheduled for this Monday at 4:00pm at the back of the middle school south building. All are welcome to attend.
The Lost and Found is now set up outside at the front entrance. Please stop by and look for any missing items from this year. All unclaimed items after June 13th will be donated to a good cause.

GD Boys & Girls Crusader Basketball Camp 2022
(open to students who will be in grades 2-8 for the 2022-23 school year)
Monday, June 20 - Thursday, June 23
8:30am - 12:30pm
Boys Camp will take place at Middle School North and Twomey Center
Girls Camp will take place at GDRHS
Participants should wear active wear, sneakers and bring water and a snack
