GD VOLUNTEER CLUB NEWS

The GD Volunteer Club is running a clothing and toiletries drive from now until November 1st! Please view the flyer below for what you can bring in. Boxes are located at the high school, middle school, and both elementary schools. All donations are greatly appreciated!

FROM THE DRAMA GUILD:

Mark your calendars for this year's fall play, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. On November 1st and 2nd, the GD Players will be putting on the heart-wrenching drama in the high school’s Black Box Theater. This adaptation of the classic novel by Ken Kesey will make you laugh and cry. Follow along as Randle P. McMurphy serves out his short criminal sentence in a mental institution, clashing with Nurse Ratched and revolutionizing the other patients of the ward. Showtimes are 7 P.M. on November 1st, and 2 and 7 P.M. on November 2.

HOW TO ORDER A YEARBOOK, PLUS SENIOR PORTRAIT AND AD INFORMATION

The PRESALE cost for a yearbook is $75 until December 31, 2024. All presales are guaranteed. After that, the cost for a yearbook goes up to $85 on a first-come, first-serve basis, based on what we estimate our sales will be beyond our guaranteed presale number. We have sold out of yearbooks the past three years, so be sure to order now.

BAE Systems’ FOCUS and Women in Technology Programs are currently accepting applications from high school students interested in participating in their Winter 2025 sessions.

College Visits have started.  Over 60 college and university representatives will be visiting G-D over the next few months.  Visits happen during WIN Block and attendees MUST sign up in advance.  To sign up, log into your Naviance Account and navigate to the college visits page.  If you need help with Naviance, email your guidance counselor.  Full list of College/University visits.
