Monday is the beginning of Quarter 2 and your student’s updated schedule is now posted in the Community Portal. Also, November 20 and 21 are early release days due to Parent-Teacher Conferences. FROM THE DRAMA GUILD:
One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. On November 1st and 2nd, the GD Players will be putting on the heart-wrenching drama in the high school’s Black Box Theater. This adaptation of the classic novel by Ken Kesey will make you laugh and cry. Follow along as Randle P. McMurphy serves out his short criminal sentence in a mental institution, clashing with Nurse Ratched and revolutionizing the other patients of the ward. Showtimes are 7 P.M. on November 1st, and 2 and 7 P.M. on November 2.
CLASS OF 2027 FUNDRAISER

UNIFIED BASKETBALL
HIGH SCHOOL OPEN ART STUDIO

Every Wednesday from 1pm-5pm- students can come in and use our materials and create some art, explore new mediums or just hang out if that's what they are inclined to do on a given day.
We also plan to have an occasional guest professional artist come in and offer a class on different art mediums. I will always be there if they are interested in glass art. Some of the materials we have on hand are paints (watercolors, water based oils, acrylics), pastels, stained glass, fused glass, gelli printing, basic weaving, stamping, jewelry making, drawing pencils, mosaic, basic soap, candles and alcohol inks.
HS Open Art Studio: Every Wednesday from 1-6 pm, $25 per semester. Come use our studtion and art supplies for independent projects. A safe quiet space to create art, partially funded by the Groton Cutlural Council. Registration Required

GrotonFest Winter will be held on Saturday, December 7th. They are looking for students to volunteer during any of the slots (set-up is preferred) as well as students who are interested in training to be volunteer coordinators for later GrotonFest events.

The PRESALE cost for a yearbook is $75 until December 31, 2024. All presales are guaranteed. After that, the cost for a yearbook goes up to $85 on a first-come, first-serve basis, based on what we estimate our sales will be beyond our guaranteed presale number. We have sold out of yearbooks the past three years, so be sure to order now.
