UNIFIED SPORTS EVENT

Dear GDRHS families,

I’m excited to announce that on Friday, March 28, 2025, at the end of the school day, students will have the chance to participate in a Mobile Polar Plunge Fundraiser to support the Special Olympics!

This is where you can help: Students can sign up as sponsors and raise funds for this amazing cause. To be able to participate in the plunge, each student must raise a minimum of $25 in donations.

Every dollar raised goes directly toward supporting athletes of the Special Olympics and giving them the opportunity to compete and succeed. If you're a student interested in signing up to participate, please use the website linked below to get started. I have also attached a video that explains the polar plunge and what it's all about!! Teams and costumes are encouraged! Join your friends, teammates, and club peers to get involved!

Let’s work together to make this event a big success and support a truly wonderful cause!

BAE ENGINEERING CAREER DAY

"We at BAE are hosting another Career Fair day for young engineering minds on April 23rd at our Electronic Systems - NHQ site: 65 Spit Brook Road, Nashua NH.  It’s a day-long event where students are shown a glimpse behind the curtain how products get made, product development works in the real-world, and hands-on engineering challenges to explore team dynamics. The day is an opportunity to engage with different types of engineers, product managers, systems designers, and many others who make our industry work.

Our Engineering Career Day has been redesigned into a new experience this spring, featuring a Q&A panel of different types of career paths and career advice, three tours (3d Printing, Integrated Manufacturing, and Microwave Tech). We also brought back a session with engineering adjacent professions to our Engineering Career Fair like finance and contracts to help students better understand how we engage with our end customers and users.

We would love to work with you too, to help introduce students to rare opportunities to learn about everything engineering related. Attached you will find our student application form and waiver, which needs to be filled out and returned to us by March 26th, and we will respond in a week. Each student that attends will need to bring some sort of proof of identity and needs to establish their own transportation to and from the site. We will provide breakfast at 8am as we start, and lunch around noon.

Thank you, and we hope to see plenty of your students' faces in the coming weeks!
