Hello Middle School families. I hope you are having a lovely weekend.
Grade 8 families, Thursday, March 21st is 8th Grade Parent Scheduling Information Night. It will be held at the High School in the Black Box at 6:00 pm. This is to explain high school scheduling options. Students will attend a presentation in school so this night is geared for parents.
Elementary School Science Fair Volunteers needed, The Elementary Science Fair is set to take place at the Middle School North gym on Saturday, April 6th at 9am. We are in need of High School student volunteers to act as judges. This is a fun way to earn volunteer hours! The elementary students especially enjoy sharing their projects with the older students. If your high schooler can help, please have them use the link below to sign up. We only have a few volunteer judges so far, and we need many to make this a success. If you have any questions, please email gdesciencefair@gmail.com.

The staff vs student basketball game was a huge success. Teachers won but the students definitely did a nice job in the 3rd quarter bringing the score closer. I think they went on a 20-0 scoring streak. Below is a picture of the staff and “honorary staff” who played. Although we do have this picture of players, so many other teachers stayed after school to set up, sell concessions, supervise, and do anything else that needed to be done. To get this game off the ground takes a village and I really appreciate all of our staff.
Square 1 Art catalogs have been passed to teachers and your students should be bringing them home this week.
Project 351 is having a clothing drive to help with clothing insecurity. March 25 to April 5. We’d love for you to donate any clothing that you’re able to. We’re looking for new and gently used clothing appropriate for ages 0-12, sizes newborn to Adult Medium. Socks, underwear, and Pajamas must be brand new. So look out for fliers and boxes near the offices coming soon. If you have questions, find Sophie Goss and Ella Bonenfant of the 8th grade.
