Family Memo

Hello Middle School families. I hope you are having  a great weekend.

I had asked teachers to ask students what they thought our Core Values of Ownership Awareness and Kindness looked, felt and sounded like.  This week's favorite…

  • Kindness sounds like saying things like “are you ok?” “Do you need help?”

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome the 4th, almost 5th grade families to our weekly memo chain.  To those of you who are new to getting the Middle School memo I try to get it sent out by Friday but sometimes the week just doesn’t cooperate and it goes out during the weekend.  I used to send this memo on Sunday nights but this year I have tried to reclaim my weekends.  🙂  I will always highlight the topic of entry for ease of reading.

  • MCAS dates for planning purposes,

    • Math May 15th ( Day 2)  and May 16th  ( Day 1) all Grades

    • Civics grade 8 May 29 and 30

    • Science grade 5 and 8 May 20 May 21

School Council,  we will have our last School Council meeting of the school year on Monday May 20th at 2:45 in the South Library. As a reminder all are welcome to attend.  If you have any questions about what the reductions will look like for your students I will have time in the agenda to discuss this.

Friday was School Lunch Hero Day.  Some of our students gave a big shout out to Cafeteria workers.

  • Mark your calendars the moving up ceremony will be Monday June 10th 6:30  in the PAC.  Stay tuned for information about tickets.  We do have a smaller 8th grade class this year so hopefully we can be more flexible with tickets.
