Hello Middle School families. I hope you have a great long weekend.
As a reminder to our families, we are down to two counselors at this time for all of our students. Ms. Zwicker and Ms. Ascione are doing their absolute best to get to all of the students who need support along with meeting private school deadlines. Please allow them some grace. They will reply to your calls and emails as soon as they can. Thank you for your support and partnership.
We are excited to invite you to participate in the Groton Dunstable Regional Middle School Science Fair!
The fair will be held in the Middle School North Gym, on Saturday, March 29th. Judging will begin promptly at 9:30am. Students in grades 5-8 are eligible.
By participating in this fun event, students will have the opportunity to:
Learn specifics about a scientific subject through research,
Perform a scientific experiment,
Use their creative skills to explain their scientific project,
Orally communicate their findings to judges, peers, and families at the fair.

Apple Watches, we are noticing that students are using their Apple watches quite a bit to text. Please be aware that we will start to treat Apple watches like cell phones if we need to. What that means is if students are seen texting, we will ask them to put their Apple Watch off and away, and if the issue continues to persist, the Apple watches will have to go into the main office. If you could partner with us and have a conversation with your student we would appreciate that. Thank you.

A reminder about the bus…. The school can not give permission/or ok students riding another bus. If you would like your child to ride another bus you must either call or email the bus company to see if that is ok. Please know if you do not do this and your child gets on a different bus your child will be brought back to school and you will need to pick them up. Thank you for your cooperation.

A note from GDEF, "Are you looking for a unique way to recognize a Teacher, Administrator, or Other Staff/Community Member for their hard work and impact they’ve had on your child? GDEF Teaching Stars are the perfect gift! They are a great way to say "Thank You" while helping to enrich the schools in the form of a donation to the Groton-Dunstable Education Foundation (GDEF). Certificates are great for showing your gratitude in November or as a holiday gift in December! Learn more here about how to show an educator how much they are appreciated with a Teaching Star: https://www.gdefinc.org/teaching-star."
