Week of May 15th, 2023
Student Council Update:
The Student Council is wrapping up its year of leadership tasks with one more meeting where they will celebrate their accomplishments and plan a few more school-wide events! At the June 7th School Committee meeting, two student council members will be leading the night with the Pledge of Allegiance.
They have organized one more Spirit Week for the end of the year; it will be the last week of school and the theme is Summer Fun. Stay tuned for more information!
Project: Kindness Bulletin Board! Our Student Council Members will make a poster and decorate the board on this theme and all students can get their name displayed on the Kindness Board by their teacher when they are “caught” being kind. They are also planning to have sticky notes with kind and positive messages all over the board for anyone to take one or leave one. Please encourage your child(ren) to participate!
And a BIG thank you to them for the beautiful glass floral votives they painted as part of the PTO’s Teacher Appreciation goodie bags!
