Emilia Tapia-Ortiz (1C) saw that a friend had fallen during recess and was upset. She stopped playing to help her friend out and make sure he was okay! #Respect
Olivia Drouin (3D) has made tremendous Growth in all areas of her learning this year. She is always Respectful and Responsible. Olivia is also Resilient with changes in her school and home life. Olivia will always be a true Ti-GRRR wherever she goes!
Piper Harris-Brown (3D) encompasses what it means to be a true Ti-GRRR! All school year, she has been Responsible, Respectful and Resilient. As a result, she has made tremendous Growth in school. Well done!
Eve Potvin (3D) comes to school everyday with a smile on her face and a positive attitude. She is Respectful to everyone, Responsible for her things, and helps others when needed. Keep being a great Ti-GRRR!
Benson Panyanouvong (2C) has shown incredible bravery and Growth in so many ways this year! You have stepped up during morning meetings with sharing confidently and recently performed a play for another class! Outstanding, much to be proud of.

Groton-Dunstable Youth Soccer Food Drive - Saturday, May 11
For many families who depend on school meals, the summer months can be challenging. GDYSC is teaming up with Loaves & Fishes to collect healthy snacks for the Summer Kids Bags program to help ensure these families have access to nutritious snacks during the break.

Volunteer Appreciation Day - Sunday, June 2! To our wonderful volunteers, keep an eye out for an invitation to watch a movie in the theatre with your family, on us!
PTO Board Elections - Monday, June 3, 8pm, SU Library. All board positions are one year terms so each role is up for re-election. We ALWAYS need volunteers and board members, consider helping out next year by completing the interest form by 5/24: 2024-2025 Swallow Union PTO Interest Form - Google Forms
Book Drive - help us replenish the SU library with books requested by the students! The book drive is open until May 31. Donated books will include a dedication to the family that contributed so your legacy stays at SU. SU Book Drive (signupgenius.com)
Fun Fridays There are few spots left to sign-up for a Fun Friday! You can sign up as a class, with friends, or as a community group, the possibilities are endless and even a simple gesture goes a long way.

SU Music Concerts
We have had three successful performances so far with the latest from our 2nd graders who filled the house last night!
May 30th - 4th Grade Performance @ 6 pm at Swallow Union
4th Graders will also perform at the GDRSD Fine Arts Festival in the Middle School South PAC at 7pm on May 20th!
The Kindergarten "Informances" will take place in the music classroom from 11:30 - 12:00. KL is on June 4th, KM is on June 6th, and KO is on June 7th.
