2nd Grade Projects

Dear SU Families,

  1. I hope everyone is staying safe and does not have to travel today.  I know this is not the most ideal snow day for our students to play outside.  We did take advantage of the snow this past week.  The kids had a fun time during recess sliding down the hills, and Mrs. Pelletier had the perfect week to start her snowshoeing unit during PE.

  2. Our Swallow Union Family Winter Outing is this Sunday, February 6 from 2-4pm at Larter Field in Dunstable. Bring your gear and join SU families for sledding, skating, and hot cocoa. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Join us in support of the pink ribbon campaign in memory of Cassidy Baracka. Neighbors of the Baracka family have started this campaign to show community support and honor the memory of Cassidy. If you'd like to participate, please tie a pink ribbon to your mailbox or a tree near the street. The PTO will also have a pink ribbon to share at our Winter Event on Sunday.

Let’s come together as a community and show our support. 🎀

     3. Just a reminder if you have to change your child’s plan after school regarding taking the                     bus or a pick-up, please contact our office by phone.  You can email as well, but at times we             may not read the email in time to get the change communicated.

     4. We will reschedule our wear RED day in honor of our troops who are deployed.  Stay tuned             for a new date.

     5. We sent home covid19 test kits with our students yesterday who signed up for the                                 program.  If you are interested in this program or have any questions, here is the flyer that                was sent to families a couple of weeks ago.

     6. SU will have a half-day on Friday, February 11th.  All students will be dismissed at 12:15.
