Our 3rd graders recently took their much-anticipated annual field trip to Williams Barn, where history came to life! In alignment with the 3rd-grade social studies curriculum, students experienced hands-on learning about colonial life, including churning butter, crafting tools, and exploring what daily routines looked like in early America. These activities helped students connect classroom lessons to the real world while fostering curiosity, collaboration, and a deeper appreciation for the past.
All year long, Mrs. Murphy’s 3rd graders have partnered with our Kindergarten students as reading buddies, building confidence, fluency, and friendships along the way. To celebrate their final session of the year, the buddies teamed up for a special Reader’s Theater performance — a fun and engaging way to bring their stories to life!

Our second graders kicked off this year's Spring Concert Series! Students get to perform in front of the whole school the afternoon of their evening family performances. This is a great chance to rehearse the songs, movements, and stage presence.
Mrs. Schott's students engaged with the 100th day of school activities to celebrate the milestone. Including their 100th-day eyeglasses to help with the read-aloud book, 100th Day Worries by Margery Cuyler, and $100 bills to ignite their writing and ideas amongst several cross-curriculum activities!

Due to the incoming storm, Groton-Dunstable Regional School District will be closed on Thursday, February 6th, 2025. All after-school activities are also canceled.
Mr. David Kimpton, a long-time Dunstable resident, visited third graders to share fascinating stories about the Revolutionary War.
During his talk, Mr. Kimpton highlighted the significant role Dunstable settlers played in shaping early American history.
